There are so many games out these days, it’s tough to know what to buy. I used to rely on word of mouth for what games I should buy – me and my group of friends would talk about what we liked and there was a good chance we would either all own it or we would swap games. I may not be your group of friends, but let me suggest a game: Prison Architect.
Of course, you might have to be a fan of simulation games to give this one a go, but I’d recommend it to anyone. Who hasn’t driven past a prison and thought, “gee golly I could run that thing better.” Well you’re now in luck because that dream can become reality. Prison Architect is a game that lets you take the driver seat in building, staffing, and running your very own prison. You have complete control over the lay out, the daily routine, where your guards are stationed, and even what risk level you’re willing to accept from the prisoners.
This is an early access game at the moment on Steam but it’s well worth it. Early access does come with some drawbacks, and there are a few features that aren’t working. But the beauty of it is, it’s already such a fun game and it’s not even in full release mode. I’m not one to score this game out of 10 so you know EXACTLY what I think of it but it is worth the pick up. If you enjoy a good simulation game and you’re looking for something new give it a shot, it is after all Shadowchair approved.
